Girlfriends + Football: Week 2 NFL Injuries, Highs & Lows
Week 2 of the NFL season did not disappoint, and your favorite girlfriends had plenty to celebrate (and commiserate) about. From jaw-dropping performances to some tough injury news, this episode was all about riding the highs and surviving the lows.
Bills Stay Cool Under Pressure
Beth kicked things off by talking about her Bills. While the game wasn’t edge-of-your-seat exciting, that might have been the best part. The team looked calm, confident, and in control, like they were running a well-oiled practice. Josh Allen played with undeniable confidence, even while nursing a broken nose. Bills fans will take the win, style points or not.
Lions, Packers, and NFC Heat
Laura had reason to smile, too. The Lions impressed, and the conversation turned to whether the Packers might actually be the NFC team to beat. That’s right, the NFC picture just got a whole lot more interesting.
AFC Contenders: Buffalo in the Spotlight
With Buffalo looking like a powerhouse, the girlfriends debated whether the Bills might be the strongest team in the AFC. Between Allen’s poise and the depth across the roster, Buffalo fans have plenty to cheer for.
Giants vs. Cowboys Drama
And then there was the Dallas–New York game. Let’s just say it exceeded expectations and gave everyone plenty of material for hot takes. From surprising plays to big swings in momentum, this one is going to be talked about all season.
Rate the Fit & Extra Fun
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Girlfriends + Football episode without “Rate the Fit,” recipes, and a few laughs along the way. Whether you tune in for the football talk or just the fun banter, there was something for everyone this week.
Week 2 brought as many questions as answers. Are the Packers truly NFC favorites? Can the Bills dominate the AFC? Will injuries derail some of the most exciting teams? One thing’s for sure: the season is heating up, and we’ll be here every week to break it down.
